Trader Circle India (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates TCI Journal. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and safeguard your information when you use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

• Account data: name, email address, hashed password.
• Trading data you submit: trades, setups, screenshots, custom rules, notes, P&L figures.
• Payment data: processed entirely by Cashfree Payments — we never store your card or bank details. We only retain an order ID, amount and payment status.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and basic usage logs for security and performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain and improve the Service.
• To authenticate your account and process subscription payments.
• To send transactional emails (password resets, payment receipts).
• To detect, prevent and respond to fraud, abuse or technical issues.

We do not sell your data, share Your Content with third parties, or use it to train AI models.

3. Cookies

We use a single secure, http-only cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

4. Third-Party Services

• Cashfree Payments — processes all payments. See their privacy policy.
• Gmail SMTP — used to deliver password reset emails.
• MongoDB Atlas — encrypted cloud database for your account & trades.

5. Data Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Transport is encrypted with HTTPS. Authentication uses JWT cookies marked secure and httpOnly. We follow industry-standard practices but no system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password.

6. Data Retention

Your account and trade data are retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (email tradercircleindia@gmail.com), we permanently delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required to retain by law (e.g. payment records for accounting).

7. Your Rights

You may at any time:

• Access, correct or export your data.
• Delete your account and associated data.
• Withdraw consent or opt out of optional emails.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
